So all is well with the world again, right? We needn't have worried about Europe after all ... the ECB is both constitutionally permitted and, it seems, willing to become the judge and jury of Europe's banks and that, as Mr Cameron, says "would be a good outcome." The States of Guernsey has granted legal tender status for two of Guernsey Mint's fine silver coins - the simply gorgeous half ounce and 1oz Doubles. Double Guernsey coins were first minted in 1830, each bearing the ancient royal seal of King Edward I and the French (the legal and common language in Guernsey at the time) word "Guernesey" above ... so, no, in case you were wondering ... we haven't forgotten how to spell ...
